we spent the day

at the pool,

with family and friends.

we woke up early

and just like that,

she was

eight years old.

she played hard,

and while she slept

at night

i hung garlands.

he washed the dog

and i began working on her

birthday

i had a doctor's appointment,

and we stopped on the way home

for her very first

mani-pedi..

june 25th-2012.

she made a new friend,

and we spent the day

inside

hiding from the storm.

june 24th-2012.

"what's on my mind"

spent the day studying

and taking exams..

it was hard to concentrate

with all this rain.

june 23rd-2012.

"movement"

trying to find ways

to be productive

while stuck at home..

her garden continues to bloom,

but the dog ate

one of her baby watermelons

and spent most of the afternoon

in time out.

pre-school classroom..

i hope she never gets a

she likes stuffing

sewing.

zoe's garden

continues to bloom...

i worked on her blanket

while she read me library books.

she wanted to learn how to sew..

the lines were wobbly,

and my heart soared.

i was exhausted and slept until

noon.

there were projects for school,

and i was snippy

with both len

and zoe

when i shouldn't have been.

brought to me

by my babygirl..

father's day.

her sunflowers had a new bloom..

she painted my toenails

while i made a friendship bracelet..

and at sunset

we all sent father's day letters

to our grandpa,

in heaven.
